We are thrilled to share that Frankenmuth Insurance has earned a top 10 ranking on the CRASH Network’s 2022 Insurer Report Card, finishing as the ninth highest rated auto insurer based on our claims handling. Frankenmuth Insurance was recognized as one of 32 auto insurers nationwide with an overall grading of “B” or higher, earning further recognition on this year’s Insurer Report Card Honor Roll.

The CRASH Network Insurer Report Card is a tool to help consumers make informed decisions about their choice of auto insurers. This annual report is developed by surveying collision repair professionals nationwide and asking respondents to grade the performance of auto insurance companies they do business with based on one question: How well does this company’s claims handling policies, attitude, and payment practices ensure quality repairs and customer service for motorists?

The survey found that when it comes to auto insurers, bigger may not be better. When looking at the list, many well-known and widely advertised brands are not ranked among the top 40 in this year’s survey rankings.

Collision repair shop respondents said the highest-rated insurance companies don’t pressure them to cut corners or install lower-quality parts to save money, and they have fewer administrative steps in their claims process to speed up repairs.
